Andy Cohen is weighing in on Phaedra Parks and Chris “CT” Tamburello’s unexpected romance — and he says the relationship appears to be the real deal.
During the Tuesday, September 8, episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Cohen, 58, revealed that Phaedra had actually mentioned spending time with CT before their relationship became public.
“Phaedra had mentioned that she was hanging out with CT to me a month or two ago, and I was like, ‘Wow, I love this,’” Andy shared. He added that he intentionally avoided asking too many questions because he wanted to respect her privacy.
“I wanted to be very kind of, not only discreet, but I didn’t want to pry,” he explained. “And I just was like, ‘Well, I guess if this keeps going, I’ll hear about it,’ and then we all heard about it.”
Phaedra, 52, confirmed that her connection with CT, 46, had become romantic during the Friday, September 4, episode of SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. She also revealed that she would attend the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys with her Traitors costar.
When a listener asked Andy whether the relationship was genuine, he gave a clear answer.
“I know there were some people like, ‘Is this real? Is this real?’” he said. “Seems very real to me.”
Phaedra and CT originally met while filming season 2 of The Traitors in 2023. Their playful chemistry quickly caught viewers’ attention, with Phaedra famously referring to CT as her “castle daddy.”
The pair took a major step on Saturday, September 5, when they made their romance red-carpet official at the Creative Arts Emmys.
Phaedra celebrated the appearance on Instagram, writing, “Some came for the awards. I came with the prize,” before thanking CT for making the night even better.
Their relationship has also earned plenty of support from reality TV friends.
The Traitors and Big Brother alum Janelle Pierzina congratulated the couple and joked about their first meeting, while The Challenge star Johnny Bananas simply commented, “Mom and Dad ❤️.”
Phaedra and CT also appeared to keep the romance going after the Emmys. Over Labor Day weekend, the pair traveled from Los Angeles to New York and spent time on Fire Island, where they were spotted showing PDA at MISTR’s “Hot Tub Games” at The Tryst Pool Club on Sunday, September 6.
While their relationship may have surprised fans, Andy’s reaction suggests that those close to Phaedra had already seen signs that something special was developing.
