Jinger Duggar is making a major change to her podcast as her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, steps away from appearing on camera.
During the Wednesday, September 9, episode of their show, Jinger, 32, announced that the podcast will be renamed Call Your Sister, with her younger sister Joy-Anna Duggar joining as cohost.
Jinger explained that Jeremy’s decision comes down to a packed schedule rather than any issue with the podcast itself.
“He’s just in a very busy season of life, working a full-time job,” Jinger said. She added that Jeremy is also trying to finish his doctor of ministry degree, start a Bible study and balance several other responsibilities.
Because of that, Jeremy will now work more behind the scenes.
“Since he’s in such a busy season, he’s going to be the producer of this podcast and help us out a little bit,” Jinger said.
Jinger, who shares three children with Jeremy, also praised her husband for becoming an important creative force behind the show.
Joy-Anna, 28, said Jeremy actually enjoys the producer role because it allows him to remain involved without needing to be in front of the camera.
According to Joy-Anna, Jeremy told them that if hosting together was something the sisters genuinely wanted to do, he was happy to step back and support them from behind the scenes.
Jinger and Jeremy launched The Jinger & Jeremy Podcast in 2024 and spent nearly two years hosting together before making the transition.
Joy-Anna said the new format gives her and Jinger a chance to bring their real-life sister relationship into the show.
She explained that the pair already talked regularly through phone calls, FaceTime and texts, and that the podcast now gives them a dedicated hour each week to catch up on life.
“This just gives us an excuse to have an hour every week to just catch up, talk about life,” Joy-Anna said.
She added that she hopes listeners will feel like they are simply listening in on two sisters chatting.
Even though Jeremy will no longer be sitting in front of the camera, Jinger said he will still have a meaningful role in shaping the show.
“Jer was always the mastermind behind things,” she said, praising his creativity and ability to think outside the box.
For Jinger and Joy-Anna, Call Your Sister marks a new chapter for the podcast — one that keeps Jeremy involved while allowing the sisters to take center stage.
