Taylor Swift fans are convinced the singer may already be teasing her 13th studio album — even though she hasn’t officially announced anything yet.
It has been nearly a year since Swift released The Life of a Showgirl in October 2025, but eagle-eyed fans believe she has been dropping subtle hints about what could come next. Swift herself previously said that when she leaves Easter eggs, they usually point toward music, future plans or projects she hasn’t revealed yet.
One of the biggest fan theories comes from the number 13 itself, which has long been Swift’s favorite number. In May 2026, she attended a friend’s wedding wearing opal earrings that reportedly featured 13 stones. Fans quickly linked that detail to the possibility of album No. 13.
Another clue fans are focusing on is color. In August 2026, Swift was photographed in London wearing a lilac-colored dress while leaving a members-only club. Some Swifties think lilac could be the main color of TS13, especially since the same shade was previously linked to the mysterious 13th elevator button in Swift’s 2022 “Bejeweled” music video.
Social media activity also added fuel to the speculation. The Empire State Building’s official accounts posted photos of the landmark lit in green with a caption that emphasized Swift’s initials, leading some fans to wonder whether it was another hidden clue connected to a future project.
There is also growing speculation that Swift’s next album could lean into country influences. During an August 2026 appearance at the Grammy Museum, she spoke warmly about her country roots and said she wants to honor them more and more. After that, some fans began to suspect TS13 could bring Swift back to a more country-inspired sound.
At this point, Swift has not confirmed plans for a 13th album. Still, between the numbers, the colors, the public appearances and the renewed attention on her early musical roots, fans are convinced something new could be on the horizon.
