Anne Hathaway Glows in Baby Bump-Baring Look at ‘The End of Oak Street’ Premiere
Anne Hathaway is continuing to make maternity fashion a memorable part of her latest red-carpet appearances.
The 43-year-old actress attended the world premiere of her new film, The End of Oak Street, in California on Sunday, August 9, where she proudly showed off her growing baby bump in a polished yet unexpected maternity look.
Hathaway wore a powder-blue high-neck top that featured a dramatic train with a contrasting red interior. The cropped design put her baby bump on display above a pair of low-rise jeans, creating a relaxed combination of red-carpet glamour and modern maternity style.
She completed the outfit with pointed red heels and a bold red lip that coordinated with the inside of the train. Her long dark hair was pulled into a high ponytail, while drop earrings added a subtle touch of sparkle.
The appearance is the latest in a series of maternity looks Hathaway has worn while promoting her recent projects.
Less than a month earlier, the actress showed off her bump during a July 16 visit to SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live in New York City. For that appearance, she also chose a top with a trailing design and a cropped front that revealed her stomach.
Hathaway is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, 45. The couple are already parents to sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6.
She announced her pregnancy on Instagram on June 19 with a sweet video revealing her growing bump. Hathaway captioned the post, “x Baby I’m yours,” before stepping into the camera frame, placing her hands around her stomach and smiling.
The Devil Wears Prada star has since spoken openly about how unexpected the pregnancy felt.
During a July 14 appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Hathaway explained that although she and Shulman knew pregnancy was possible, they were still surprised by the outcome.
“We knew what we were doing, but … we were so shocked it went this way,” she said, joking that the couple had been calling the pregnancy their “buzzer-beater.”
Hathaway has also discussed the realistic expectations she had about trying to conceive in her 40s.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, she said that hope can begin to feel increasingly limited at a certain age.
“There’s always hope until there’s not, but when you get to a certain age, that hope looks like it’s 1 percent to 2 percent,” Hathaway said.
She explained that she and Shulman decided to see where life took them while keeping their expectations realistic.
Now, as Hathaway continues promoting her film projects and preparing for the arrival of her third child, her maternity appearances are becoming part of the moment — combining her signature fashion sense with an increasingly personal chapter of her life.
