Candace Cameron Bure’s pregnant daughter Natasha Perry is setting the record straight after online commenters claimed she had already welcomed her first child and was delaying the announcement for attention or money.
In a TikTok video posted Sunday, September 6, Natasha, 28, directly addressed the speculation and confirmed that she is still pregnant.
“It’s September 6, I’m filming this in real time … I’m still pregnant, I still have a baby here, OK?” she told viewers before lifting her shirt to show her baby bump.
Natasha, who is expecting her first child with husband Bradley Steven Perry, responded to a comment suggesting that influencers sometimes delay major life updates to generate more engagement, likes and revenue.
She pushed back on that idea, explaining that her decision about when to share personal moments online is based on privacy and boundaries rather than a financial strategy.
“Not sharing content in real time has never come from a monetization aspect,” Natasha said.
She explained that sometimes she prefers to experience important moments privately before sharing them with her online audience.
“It’s not about money, it’s not about strategy,” she said, adding that her priority is “having boundaries online, protecting my family” and giving herself time to enjoy major moments in real life first.
Natasha also reminded followers that people sharing their lives online are still entitled to privacy.
“If I feel comfortable to share in the moment then great, I will, but if I want to savor a moment that’s happening for my family, I don’t owe you anything. Nobody owes you anything,” she said.
Natasha announced her pregnancy with Bradley in May. The baby will be the couple’s first child and Candace Cameron Bure’s first grandchild.
The September video is not the first time Natasha has responded to criticism surrounding her pregnancy. In June, she addressed comments from people who objected to her publicly showing her baby bump.
Natasha said at the time that she was proud of her pregnant body and had no intention of letting negative comments change how she felt about celebrating the experience.
As she approaches the arrival of her first child, Natasha says she plans to continue sharing parts of her life online on her own terms — whether that means posting something immediately or waiting until she feels ready.
