Angela Murray is looking back at her Big Brother 28 eviction and admitting there are a few moves she wishes she had made differently before leaving the house.
Speaking exclusively with Us after her eviction, Angela, 52, said the biggest thing she would change happened during her final two or three days in the game.
“I think if I had to say anything that I could do differently, it would be in the final two to three days,” she said, explaining that she should have done a better job of reading the room.
Angela had been aligned with Survivor alumni Rick Devens and Dee Valladares, but she noticed their behavior changing after Barrett Pfeiffer put all three of them on the block.
She recalled feeling that something was off with both players, particularly because she believed Devens viewed Dee as his closest ally.
Angela even told Dee that she thought Devens wanted to keep her over Angela.
Looking back, Angela believes she should have worked harder to persuade Yash Patel and Taylor Brown, whose votes ultimately became critical.
She said she could have pitched herself as someone who could help them in future competitions and warned them that Devens and Dee might not actually target Drew Campbell and Barrett despite claiming otherwise.
“If I had said that, I could have maybe stayed,” Angela admitted.
She also said she wishes she had been “a little sneaky” and changed the tone of her campaign during those final days.
Angela acknowledged, however, that Dee made a strong argument to stay.
According to Angela, Dee presented herself as someone capable of taking out major threats in the house and had the competitive history to make that promise believable.
Angela, meanwhile, intentionally kept a lower profile because she wanted to preserve potential relationships with both sides of the house.
That strategy may have helped her avoid appearing threatening, but it also made it more difficult for her to convince Yash and Taylor that keeping her was their best option.
This season marked Angela’s second time competing on Big Brother after becoming a fan favorite during season 26.
She believes viewers saw a more strategic version of her this time around.
Angela said she still played with her heart and trusted her instincts, but she also created multiple alliances, paid closer attention to shifting house dynamics and tried to influence the growing divisions among the players.
While her second run has now come to an end, Angela appears to be leaving the game with a clearer understanding of exactly what she would change if given another chance.
