‘Reacher’ Season 4 Brings New Cast Members, a Major Recast and a Deadly New Mystery

Alan Ritchson is back as Jack Reacher for Season 4 of Reacher, but the hit series is surrounding its leading man with a noticeably different group of characters this time around.

Based on Lee Child’s bestselling Jack Reacher novels, the series follows Ritchson as the towering former U.S. Army military police officer who now lives as a drifter. Wherever Reacher goes, trouble rarely stays far behind, and his combination of intelligence, investigative instincts and physical strength regularly puts him at the center of dangerous criminal cases.

Season 4 takes inspiration from Child’s 2009 novel Gone Tomorrow and sends Reacher into another complicated conspiracy.

The story begins after Reacher witnesses a woman die by suicide on a New York subway. He later learns that the woman, Susan Mark, worked for the Pentagon and had become connected to a much larger and more dangerous situation involving political corruption, terrorism and multiple killings.

While Ritchson remains firmly at the center of the series, Season 4 introduces several newcomers who will play major roles in the latest investigation.

Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher

Ritchson returns once again as Jack Reacher, the former military investigator whose travels repeatedly pull him into violent and complicated mysteries. His character continues to serve as the foundation of the series as the story moves into its fourth season.

Sydelle Noel as Tamara Green

Sydelle Noel joins the cast as Tamara Green, a detective with the Philadelphia Police Department.

Interestingly, Noel previously auditioned to play Frances Neagley, the role that ultimately went to Maria Sten. She now gets a new opportunity to enter the Reacher universe with a different character.

Agnez Mo as Lila Hoth

Singer and actress Agnez Mo joins Season 4 as Lila Hoth, becoming another new face in the expanding cast.

Anggun as Amisha Hoth

Anggun will appear as Amisha Hoth. Along with Agnez Mo’s Lila Hoth, her character becomes part of the new group surrounding Reacher’s latest case.

Christopher Marquette as Jake

Christopher Marquette will play Jake, a small-town police officer.

The role is especially notable because Jay Baruchel was originally cast as Jake before the part was recast. Baruchel, however, is expected to remain connected to the franchise by playing a different character in Season 5.

Kevin Corrigan as Shaun Docherty

Kevin Corrigan joins the series as Shaun Docherty, who works as Tamara Green’s partner.

Kevin Weisman as Russell Plum

Kevin Weisman will portray Russell Plum, a freelance journalist based in Washington, D.C. His profession could place him close to the political side of the conspiracy at the center of Season 4.

Marc Blucas as Congressman John Sampson

Marc Blucas joins the cast as Congressman John Sampson, adding a political figure to the new storyline.

Kathleen Robertson as Elsbeth Sampson

Kathleen Robertson will play Elsbeth Sampson, the wife of Congressman John Sampson.

Dean Armstrong as Foster

Dean Armstrong rounds out the announced newcomers with a guest appearance as Foster.

With a new mystery, a heavily refreshed supporting cast and an adaptation of one of Lee Child’s darker Reacher stories, Season 4 appears ready to place Alan Ritchson’s character in another sprawling investigation where the truth may be much bigger than the crime that first catches his attention.
