Britney Spears’ son Jayden James is stepping further into the fashion spotlight with his first magazine cover.
Jayden, 19, appears on the cover of MACzine, MAC Cosmetics’ relaunched digital editorial platform. The brand introduced him on Tuesday, August 25, highlighting his interests in modeling, music and fashion.
For the cover image, Jayden posed with a dewy complexion, wet tousled hair and a clean, fashion-forward look. During the accompanying interview, he also opened up about his skincare routine, explaining that he keeps things relatively simple with face wash, moisturizer and facial spray.
Jayden said MAC’s Fix+ spray has become one of the products he reaches for when his skin feels dry, after washing his face or following a workout.
He also gave some credit to his girlfriend, Gabrielle, joking that she is the person who really knows the details of his routine because she often helps him with it. Gabrielle, in turn, teased that Jayden can be difficult when it comes to staying consistent with skincare.
Jayden is one of Britney Spears’ two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Along with his growing interest in fashion, he is also working on music behind the scenes and said he plans to release it when he feels ready.
The cover comes only months after Jayden and his older brother, Sean Preston, made their runway debut in the Vetements Spring/Summer 2027 show in June.
Jayden previously said he would be interested in returning to the runway, admitting that he felt nervous during his first show and believes he could improve his walk with more experience.
Fashion, however, is only one part of his creative ambitions. Jayden and Sean Preston have both emphasized their longtime connection to music, with Jayden saying that he and his brother are continuing to explore music and other creative projects.
Sean Preston, 20, has similarly described music as a major foundation in his life, noting that he and Jayden have been making music together for years.
With his MACzine cover, runway experience and developing music career, Jayden appears to be building his own path in the entertainment and fashion industries while stepping into the public eye on his own terms.
