Scarlet Vas and her husband, Tayo Ricci, are preparing to welcome another addition to their family.
Ricci, 29, announced the pregnancy on Tuesday, August 18, sharing a video on Instagram featuring himself, Vas, 31, and their 19-month-old daughter, Silva. In the clip, the couple wore matching white T-shirts and jeans while posing on a cliff overlooking the water.
“We couldn’t keep this a secret any longer,” Ricci wrote alongside the announcement.
During the video, Vas turned to reveal her growing baby bump before the couple proudly showed their sonogram images to the camera.
Vas followed up with another post on Wednesday, August 19, sharing several photos from the couple’s maternity shoot.
“The doctor called. Apparently we’re having another baby 🤍👼,” she wrote.
Vas and Ricci, both from Australia, first met when they were teenagers through mutual friends. Their parents later married, making them stepsiblings, and Vas and Ricci eventually began dating. They made their relationship public on social media in 2020 and tied the knot three years later.
The couple has previously addressed criticism surrounding their unconventional relationship, with Vas saying they do not allow negative online reactions to affect them.
In September 2024, Vas and Ricci announced that they were expecting their first child. They welcomed daughter Silva in December of that year and celebrated her arrival with a social media post captioned, “And then there were three 😱.”
Now, their family is growing once again as they prepare to welcome baby No. 2.
Vas is an actress and content creator known for appearing on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, while Ricci is a musician and social media personality. The couple regularly shares lifestyle and family content with their millions of followers online.
